Beads are grey in appearance with a fine powder like consistency. Each high index glass bead micro-sphere is semi-hemispherically coated with a thin aluminum coat to create "tiny mirrors."

These unique superior performance beads offer high reflectivity and durability due to their extremely smooth surfaces, greater than 98 % roundness and less than 1% air inclusions. These very high refractive index beads have a refractive index of > 1.93
Applications include screen printing, reflective plasticsol inks , reflective sheeting, signs, arts, crafts, reflective paints and coatings.
